Clothes and accessories for Blythe and similar dolls

Let's start a freshly revisited site!

Let's start a freshly revisited site!

Hey dear dolly friends!

I’m currently rethinking this site. It’s been left aside for too long.

I’m now having two audiences, that is on one hand my long-time wooly doll friends, and on the other hand my newly Blythe-lover friends.

As you know - or if not you’ll learn, I’ve been playing in a different ground for about 10 months now. I’m now having much fun making miniature clothes and accessories for Blythe and similar-sized dolls.

When I started listing Blythe-sized clothes on Etsy in April 2019, things started smoothly. A few orders started to come in, so I was very happy people could enjoy my new reconversion and this really deeply encouraged me to go along this path. I was having so much fun adapting my sewing skills from 18” wooly child-looking pot-bellied dolls to 12” skinny human-like resin ones. As I introduce it on Pinterest, I’m a doll lover, maker and collector!

This has always been a thing in me: I always have to find new fields to discover. I know there are different types of makers and artisans, and one thing I’m sure about is I fall in the category of researchers. The type of people who always want to go further and try new things. That’s how I’m now planning to go further into customising my own dolls too! I’ve already started experimenting and tried my hands on the 3 of the little doll models that you can regularly follow on my Instagram feed. I named them Charlie, Nana, and Noname. (Link to my IG profile below)

As you can see, my style is slowly evolving to something more “old-style”. I so love this urchin looks that every little piece of clothing that catches my eye, I’m wondering how to turn into my own style.

“And what would this cute little stripey dress look like age-styled with such fabric?”

“what would these cute little pointy shoes look like on my little dollies’ feet?”

Now, why decide to come back here, on my site? Because I need to organise custom orders! I can’t go on apologising for delayed orders, and I want my customers to be happy with my services.

I can’t go on keeping my etsy shop open as I did the past 10 months, or I fear I would become mentally insane!!!

That’s why from now on, I will still take orders, because I love that!, but I will lower them to one or two a week, and reopen once these a made for the week after.

So how to ask for an order?

You’ll have to enter the waiting list on this site. The list will be visible too and kept up-to-date. And I’ll reach you once your turn comes for the details and the payment.

I created a catalogue of the items I can propose on order in a section you can find in the menu bar at the top of the site. The items are codified so that you easily make a list of the ones you want to order.

Aside this, since I hope I have time off for my trial things, I’ll be able to list ready-made clothes on Etsy, along with rescue toys, and a new sections I’d like to open which is “brocabrac”, a section where you’ll find accessories, vintage doll clothes, furniture, fabrics…

Also, if time lets me, I can add flash orders spots on Etsy for one or two items.

I’m so excited with this new experiment, and I hope everything will be easier for everyone!

I’ll add new details soon, but in the meantime, I invite you to subscribe to the Newsletter because this is where you’ll be notified of the new items in the shop, WIP photos, little stories, discount codes, coupons… and so much more!

In the meantime, if you’d like to comment on any idea that could help me in the organisation, please leave a comment below, or reach me on IG or Etsy, and I’ll be really happy to come back to you.

I’m wishing you a very happy week, my dear dolly friends, and hope I can spread my outstanding love for doll as far as you are! :* :* :*
